The following are the terms and conditions for the Buyback Guarantee Policy Buyback Guarantee is operated by MDEcart through its online platform www.mdecart.com
By purchasing and availing the Buyback Guarantee, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
DESCRIPTION OF THE BUYBACK GUARANTEE POLICY
Upon payment of a specified fee on the product page (Buyback Guarantee Price), the customer obtains an assured, pre-determined value (Buyback Guarantee Value) as mentioned on the product page.
The Buyback Guarantee Value will be provided when the customer exchanges the originally purchased mobile phone (Original Phone) for another eligible mobile phone (New Phone) sold on MDEcart.com by select sellers.
The Buyback Guarantee may be valid for 6–12 months from the date of delivery of the Original Phone (in some cases, 1–12 months or 6–18 months).
The Buyback Guarantee is applicable only on the Original Phone purchased on MDEcart.com.
SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Buyback Guarantee Policy is non-transferable.
The Buyback Guarantee has a 10-day cancellation window from the delivery date of the product. Upon cancellation within this period, the Buyback Guarantee Price will be refunded. After 10 days, it becomes non-refundable.
The Buyback Guarantee Value is redeemable only upon purchase of a New Phone (from select sellers on MDEcart.com) during the valid time frame.
The Buyback Guarantee is applicable only on limited inventory.
If the Original Phone is returned during the return period, the Buyback Guarantee Price shall also be refunded.
The price of the New Phone must always be higher than the Buyback Guarantee Value. No cash, wallet credit, or any alternate benefit shall be given in lieu of the Buyback Guarantee Value.
The Buyback Guarantee cannot be combined with any other exchange or promotional offer.
The Buyback Guarantee is subject to purchase limits per customer. If limits are exceeded, redemption will not be allowed.
The customer must return the Original Phone with its box, charger, and accessories in good and working condition. Failure to do so may reduce the Buyback Guarantee Value.
A field executive (or logistics partner) will inspect the Original Phone during pickup. Eligibility depends on passing the following checks:
The phone must power on and remain functional for at least 30 seconds.
No physical damage, cracks, or dead pixels on screen.
The device is not rooted, modified, or tampered with.
IMEI number matches the details registered at purchase.
Screen locks, passwords, and security features are disabled.
Original accessories are returned in good condition.
Online quality checks may also be conducted.
If any condition fails, MDEcart may cancel the redemption or reduce the Buyback Value.
11. The customer relinquishes all ownership rights to the Original Phone once pickup is completed.
12. The Buyback Guarantee can be exercised only if the New Phone is deliverable to eligible serviceable pin codes.
13. A nominal pickup fee may be charged.
14. The Buyback Guarantee can only be availed on New Phones sold by a pre-approved list of sellers on MDEcart.com.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Valid only in India.
Customer must be at least 18 years old.
Applicable only to end customers, not resellers.
Both the Original Phone and the New Phone must be purchased via the same MDEcart account.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000. No physical or digital signatures are required.
MDEcart and its affiliates shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or liabilities arising from participation in this program.
MDEcart reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or suspend the Buyback Guarantee at any time without prior notice.
All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India. Arbitration shall be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration at Kochi, Kerala, presided over by a sole arbitrator appointed by MDEcart.
Taxes and levies, if applicable, shall be borne by the customer.
By availing the Buyback Guarantee, the customer agrees that their contact and order details may be shared with authorized partners/logistics teams for verification and execution purposes, in accordance with the MDEcart Privacy Policy.
