At MDEkart, your satisfaction is our priority. We provide flexible return windows based on product categories, allowing you to request refunds, replacements, or exchanges for eligible items.

 

Overview

  • Return windows vary from 2 to 10 days depending on product category.
  • Only unused, undamaged products in original packaging with all accessories, invoices, and intact MRP tags are eligible.
  • Some items are non-returnable due to hygiene, safety, or regulatory reasons.

 

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Check the Return Period
    • Confirm the return window for your item (2–10 days from delivery).
  2. Raise a Return Request
    • Go to “My Orders” in your MDEkart account and select the item to return.
    • Submit a one-time return request within the allowed period.
  3. Prepare the Item for Pickup
    • Ensure the product is in its original, unused condition.
    • Include all packaging, accessories, warranty cards, and invoices.

 

Eligibility for Returns

  • Products must be unused, in the same condition as received, and in original packaging.
  • Items not eligible:
    • Perishable goods (food, flowers, grocery items, etc.)
    • Intimate or sanitary goods
    • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases
    • Gift cards & downloadable software
    • Health & personal care items marked non-returnable

 

Partial Refunds

In some cases, partial refunds may be granted (if applicable):

  • Books with visible signs of use.
  • Opened CDs, DVDs, software, video games, vinyl records.
  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts (not due to MDEkart’s error).
  • Items returned after 30 days of delivery.

 

Refunds Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll receive an email confirmation.
  • If approved, refunds will be credited to your original payment method within a few working days.
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your bank/payment provider.

Sale Items

  • Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
  • Sale or discounted items cannot be refunded unless defective/damaged.

 

Exchanges

  • Items can be replaced only if defective or damaged.

Gifts

  • If marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return.
  • If not marked as a gift, the refund will go to the original purchaser.

 

Shipping Returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is processed, return shipping charges may be deducted.
